This recipe was originally created to upcycle sweet potatoes destined for the landfill because they weren't graded high enough to be sold in grocery stores. Made with Louisiana sweet potatoes and raw Louisiana cane sugar, this syrup is blended with an assortment of baking spices to create the perfect syrup to pair with Bourbon, Rum and more. Rich and creamy in texture, this recipe is the epitome of Fall in a glass. We use this syrup in myriad ways - from fall cocktails like milk punches and old fashioneds to coffee to a substitute for maple syrup on pancakes and waffles for kiddos.
