Zelli Pasta - Zelli Pasta Tomato Sauce

We've always put good ingredients before anything else at Zelli Pasta. We do this with our pasta by sourcing good grains: grains you can feel good about, grown organically, and milled fresh. It's been a dream of ours from the beginning to do the same with a tomato sauce. We are proud to have a tomato sauce that is sourced from Arkansas grown tomatoes. These tomatoes were grown not even 50 miles away from our pasta shop by Tulip Creek Farm. We love summer tomatoes in Arkansas, and we are so excited to present them in this sauce. We then used locally grown basil, Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Italian Sea Salt from Trapani. We even used a little bit of pasta water to help thicken things up a bit. We are so excited about this project. It's in limited quantity, but we will make more next Summer when the tomatoes come in season! 12oz
